Many of you are wondering why I haven’t posted the traditional “I’m back!” news post sooner. Well, FitzSheba was DOA when I got back. How something died in the week I was gone and the computer was off, I don’t know. My preliminary report wants to suggest the graphics card, but it still gets power to its fan and such, so something is working. But I get no POST. All the fans and drives spin up, the keyboard lights flash recognition, but nothing happens beyond that.

I more or less ignored it and went about the other business of coming home today, but tomorrow, I’m going to have to fix this. Somehow, I think I’m going to have to wait and send away for parts.

Such is life.
