Well, the vibration in my front wheel that I thought was a thrown wheel weight turned out to be separating tire tread! After the horror of that revelation set in, I purchased two new tires at Canton Tire and Wheel. Once again they went above and beyond to treat me nicely. They were perfectly willing to let me drive off with the tires without paying, content that I would come back and settle later. I paid then, but just the willingness to trust me had I not had enough money on me (I did drive in thinking it was a much cheaper problem, after all) is quite astounding in the car world. This isn’t the first time they’ve done something like that for me, either.
