Speakeasy got bought by BestBuy. That sucks.
Of more interest to me, though, is the MetroBrokers sign on I-75 that shows the number of houses in the Atlanta area currently for sale on their website. It can only display five digits. As the housing market has been cooling down I’ve been watching it slowly creep up. A month ago it was around 88,000. Today the number read 98,105. What will they do when it hits 99,999? Will they just leave it there? Will they redefine the metro area to bring it back down? Will they send up Pedro to paint a “+” on the end of it?
