Bioshock is the most excited I’ve been for a game in a long time. I’ve been sitting here for hours tonight looking at graphics cards and CPUs online, thinking about Xbox 360s, trying to find some way for magical money to appear and let me play this game as it’s meant to be played, not limping along at 800×600 on my PC.

The demo is awesome, but it was barely playable at 1024×768 on my computer. FitzSheba 64 was brought to her knees.

It would cost more to upgrade the computer than to buy an Xbox 360 premium, which I want anyway. Yet, I don’t even have an HDTV. Technically I would be playing at a worse resolution then.

The PC version is cheaper. I must have this game. I will likely buy it on sale tomorrow with $40 I don’t really have, and then “upgrade in to it” later.
