Also known as the making of the last day’s feature.
I never do storyboards or test drawings or anything like that normally. I just open Photoshop and go to work. But, for the lovable children’s story I posted yesterday, it was different. I got the idea while I was at work, and so I wrote the feature, on paper, while I was at work as well. I figured since I kept the little sheets of paper I did it on around anyway, why not let you see them? The problem is, I don’t have a scanner. I did my best to rig up a system using a bright lamp and my webcam…but the brightness made the graphite reflective…well…at least can you can get the gist from these pictures. One day, when I get a scanner, I might even do a full fledged hand drawn Picasso strip for the first time in 3 years or so. We’ll see.
