Another day, another feature. Thank your lucky stars that I have next to no artistic ability, or today’s offering would be quite disturbing to look at. Speaking of videogames, I’m up to 113 shines. If my assumption is correct, then that means that there are somewhere around 70 blue coins lying around levels that I didn’t find yet. This should be…interesting. I hope to have managed to get the full 120 shines before September 17th, because that’s when I get Kingdom Hearts. I get Harmony of Dissonance that day as well, but that’s going to be an on the go sort of thing. I think. I wish I was getting Animal Crossing then, but, well, here’s the thing. While I can afford it, I don’t think I could enjoy it yet. With Star Fox Adventures coming out just a week after Kingdom Hearts, September is looking rather full. If you include me winning an auction for Tactics Ogre Advance, that’s four games this month. And I don’t play short little action games (often…stupid Onimusha series), so each of these requires a pretty big time investment. I doubt I’ll have found all 99 dalmation puppies by the time SFA comes out, for example. The Advance games can be considered immune from this problem I suppose, since, by the very nature of their portability, they have an insane shelf life. Anyway, the point is Animal Crossing gets pushed back to October by moi, since that month is essentially dead. In other “Nintendo wants to eat my wallet” news, Metroid Prime and Fusion come out the same day! And I’ve got both pre-ordered! I’ll already have the GBA link cable by then thanks to Animal Crossing, so I can’t wait to find out how the games link up.
One problem though. With the possible exception of Summoner 2, I can’t think of anything decent coming out on the Playstation 2 that I don’t already own after Kingdom Hearts. Well, Vice City will be good I’m sure, but I got bored of GTA3 so quickly that’s not an option for me. Wait, does .hack come out before the end of the year? That’s looking okay…won’t know until it’s out though. We’ll see.
