If you don’t know what the hell is going on in today’s Picasso comic, you’ve not played nearly enough Final Fantasy. Hobart is replacing the dead Bobert. Deal with it. 🙂 Let’s see, what else to discuss…oh yes, did you notice the completely random and unexpected link we recieved from Staccato today? I was surprised as well.
So, I have to work this weekend. That means roughly eight hours of reference work tomorrow. My first weekend in the new position. I’ve not had any problems so far, so let’s hope none pop up at random now…I want to earn my drawer! The weird thing is that now that I’m a part timer that isn’t considered a part timer, I get to work weekends with other people of the part time staff (normally there’s one one part time employee on the weekend skeleton crew, as a shelver), which means I’ll have weekends with my friend Samantha, which is weird. Of course none of this library crap interests you, so I don’t know why I’m rambling about it. Perhaps because it interests me , and I’m the one pay for the right to put this stuff up here, aren’t I? Damn straight.
Are you ready for Tuesday? That’s when Hurricane Retail 2002 first comes ashore for us gamers. There are have been spits and little squalls all summer, but this fucker is coming in hard now. Next week Kingdom Hearts and Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance will be arriving on my doorstep. Animal Crossing comes out then as well, but I just won’t have time. The week after that, Star Fox Adventures hits like a fist. Other things such as Summoner 2 come out in this time, but I’m not going to have time to worry about it. After the force of September, there’s the lull, or “eye”, of October. This is where I pick up stuff like Animal Crossing and the various others that I’m not going to bother to type out that I was forced to miss in the wonderful pain of September. The eye passes on the 29th, when Resident Evil Zero decides to make its long delayed, yet achingly beautiful, presence known in the land of Nintendo. I think Vice City also comes out then, for those of you who aren’t horribly bored with Grand Theft Auto. Not long after that, Metroid Prime and Metroid Fusion, the first games since 1993 , come out on the same day . And we’ve not even reached December yet! Someone hold me…and sedate my wallet.
