It’s good to be back at school, but I’m beginning to think that our administration has some secret agenda, trying to see just how much they can mess up parking before we all revolt. Yesterday I recieved an email from the school warning me that parking was going to be horrible. This terrified me. I mean, they created a giant mountain of dirt on a few hundred spaces and didn’t feel the need to tell anyone.

Guess what they did while we were gone? Destroyed the old, nice, road which they had just finished repainting with new lines, and replaced it with a new, gritty one! And get this…in the four way stop that this created in a different location, there is now a freaking TRAFFIC CIRCLE. We have a TRAFFIC CIRCLE on campus now. Amazingly, the only parking spaces I saw that were inaccessible were the three that they had slung-parked a campus club car across. Hoy.

I think this is the secret to why our tuition hasn’t risen as much. They can charge as many people as they want to come here, and then assume that only a fraction of them can ever actually come to campus and use up resources! There’s no need to build facilities for them! Hell, if you need more money…destroy more parking!
