Product Preview: New Pocket Friends

Two of them are cold, hard bitches.

Starting today, the newest of the YPC’s Pocket Friends are going to be available in stores. This new set, called the “Undesirable Friends” line, is chock full of goodness. They’re cheaper than the original Pocket Jux figures that came out last year, but since those were overly prone to being broken by children, perhaps being easier to replace is a good thing. The line contains the following figures, available in mixed packs of six each, as well as some play set packages, most of which have yet to be revealed.

Migrant Miguel
Comes with his very own hoe and pickin’ bag.

Waffle House Wanda
Comes with fun food items. This figure is also available in a special double-wide play set, which comes with a free diseased pit bull.

Islamic Ilian
Special super-duper action turban included.

Prostitute Pam
Is fully compatible with all the other dolls listed in the line, including Wanda, except Gary. Comes with her very own sex-ed video. Anatomically correct.

Hindu Habeeb
Habeeb comes with a white man’s job in the blister pack.

Gay Gary
Comes with optional Hell play set, which is fully compatible with all the other figures above. He also is packaged with protest signs.

The figures look to be relatively high quality. Word on the street is that they’re going to be quite popular with American families who want to teach their kids “proper values.” Only time and final sales reports will tell, I suppose, although they have been flying off the shelves. Expect a full review when supply meets demand and we can get a few.
